The video for the original is a goofy rip-off of "A Hard Days' Night". The girls do a good job, but the original has that cool "jet airplane" effect. I put both in my Bangles playlist. Thanks for uploading!

What ever did happen with Michael?! I miss her too - being a bass player myself. She had an awesome voice and had some chops on the bass. Cool song though - they should get Carol Kaye to replace MIchael!

The Bangles are probably my fave '80s pop band, male or female! They always had great taste in covers, especially from obscure artists. I learned about the Merry-Go-Round/Emitt Rhodes and Big Star/Alex Chilton from their versions of, respectively, "Live" and "September Gurls".

They always had psych bits in their songs, I ain't that surprised. They were into it before most of us. It's a great, great song that you can't go wrong with. Good version.
