Paradise Lost didn't do Small Town Boy, it was written by Jimmy Sommerville of the group Bronski Beat --- en . wikipedia . org / wiki / Smalltown_Boy --- saying that is like saying "Hurt by Johnny Cash," when it was Trent Reznor of NIN who wrote the song. This is more of a "spiritual brother" to the original song, as it is still discussing homophobia and machismo.

Not really "the german version of" or even really a cover, but a reinterpretation of, and a damn good one I might add. The intent is the same, in the original, the singer is leaving his home town because he is gay and doesn't feel at home in his home town. In this, Dero is slamming the "homophobic macho rapper / rocker."
