A beautiful beautiful song, and a classic album, which I got on vinyl back in the 70s and on CD many years later. "Hours" is a great instrumental, with one of the best drum solos ever -- not too long, not flying off into chaos, but really interesting. In my mind I can still hear them doing this song when I saw them open for Rush in the Ottawa Civic Centre, I think in 1981. What a great double bill. I feel sorry for those who weren't around to hear all the great Canadian bands of the 70s and 80s -- FM, Max Webster, Martha and the Muffins, Eight Seconds (thank you CHEZ-106!), the Parachute Club, Saga, Chalk Circle, and on and on...

Actually, the album came out in '77. Saw them 2 or 3 times in London, Ontario. First time with Nash the Slash, then a couple of times with the legendary Ben Mink. Alway's a fantastically rock'n show. Shout out to Cameron Hawkins, and Martin Deller for their dynamite contributions. And thank you Kelly Mark for the great memories!!!

I was a but a silly teenager and a huge RUSH fan who was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by FM when I saw them at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens three nights in a row opening for RUSH. RUSH was awesome as always, they always did a great show but I expected some lame act to open for them those three nights... FM frigging ROCKED THE GARDENS!!!! I was hooked on FM after those shows... a lot of time has passed but FM's music still give me goose bumps as does RUSH... the stuff on the radio now is total crap, Justin Bieber and One Direction... RUSH and FM are like eating steaks from The Keg and Justin Bieber and One Direction are a lowly frigging Happy Meal from McDonalds!!!

Growing up in Puerto Rico in the late 70s, Rush, Saga & FM were some of my favourite bands and they all had one thing in common: Canada. There is something to be said musically about such a country, with about 1/9th the population of the USA, that produces talent across the broad musical spectrum (Paul Anka, Bryan Adams, BTO, etc). Now as far as the 3 bands above, they all have their own unique sound.

Like to tell a great story to everyone.Once upon a time back in the early eighties it was late and dark and i was out wandering on the outskirts of my home town with my older bro and a friend when all of a sudden we came across a local back road that was that was blocked for some reason by the local police, so we went away heading toward to the opposite end of the back road and there it was blocked also, determined as we were on finding out what's going on down that road we walked down the road and jumped the farmer's fence and did a army crawl on our stomach, once we got through the field i noticed that we were  on  my friends property. I was suprised and then my friend walked up gave us a beer  and informed me it was a Private Party , i am still checking things out and i figure the band must be on break but as i turn around and check out the stage, WOW!!! .I was stunned to see Nash The Slash getting ready to play a set and play he did ,i will never forget the experience i had that night and i tell people my story from time to time, sorry if it is a little boring. One of my best memories ever,we always had great field parties up in Acton but this one was special cause i actually can say i saw The great Musician,Artist and Performer Nash The Slash and even though i did not know any of the private party goers it was a great time and met lots of cool people from around the GTA. IF ANYONE REMEMBERS GOING TO THIS,, PARTY IN  ACTON IN THE EIGHTIES,LEAVE A COMMENT,THANKS                                          R.I.P.    NASH
