Ein-Ton-Samba

Dies ist nur ein kleiner Samba, aufgebaut auf einem einzigen Ton.

Andere Töne folgen zwangsläufig, doch der Ursprung bleibt jener Ton.

Dieser neue nun ist die Konsequenz aus dem, den wir gerade hatten,

so wie ich die unvermeidliche Konsequenz zu dir bin.

Da gibt es so viele Leute, die quatschen und quatschen und quatschen

und sagen nichts, oder beinahe nichts!

Ich habe die ganze Tonleiter verbraucht, die ich kenne, und am Ende

kam ich zu nichts, oder beinahe nichts ...

So komme ich zurück zu meinem ersten Ton, wie ich zu dir zurückkehren muss.

Ich will in diesen einen Ton all die Liebe hineinlegen, die ich für dich fühle.

Jeder, der die komplette Show mit „d-e-f-g-a-h-c" haben will,

wird am Ende ganz ohne Show dastehen - spiel lieber den Ton, den du kannst!

Eis aqui este sambinha feito numa nota só.

Outras notas vão entrar, mas a base é uma só.

Esta outra é conseqüência do que acabo de dizer.

Como eu sou a conseqüência inevitável de você.

Quanta gente existe por aí que fala tanto e não diz nada,

Ou quase nada.

Já me utilizei de toda a escala e no final não sobrou nada,

Não deu em nada.

E voltei pra minha nota como eu volto pra você.

Vou contar com uma nota como eu gosto de você.

E quem quer todas as notas: ré, mi, fá, sol, lá, si, dó.
