That song reminds me of my grandmother and grand-uncle. they used to love that song. God bless that wonderful woman, Marilyn, for giving us such a wonderful songs. Patsy Kline is in heaven because only an angel can compose such a song.

I'm very glad to see this up here, and my compliments to you Roy for doing it, and doing it well. Most people remember Cristy Lane's great version, but few today remember Marilyn was the very first to do it Kris had her in mind when he wrote it. Marilyn Sellars is a great artist, with many fine recordings, and done one of the Best versions of Before The Next Tear Drop Falls that I ever heard. I'm fortunate enough to have a great amount of her recordings still, and I wouldn't be without them. Marilyn was born, raised, and still lives in Northfield MN. Again my compliments to you Roy, Marilyn sellars is well worth it Thank You !!!

Use Magix Cleaning Lab, you can remove all hiss, clicks and tick from a record, I use it for almost 8 years and it's a excellent piece of software wit a lot of features

The song One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus was sung by: Marijohn Wilkin and Kris Kristofferson, but was originally written by late Patsy Cline who was not able to record it. Patsy was both a poet and a song writer.

A great song by Marilyn Sellars! Written by Kris Kristofferson. This was a featured track on "American Top 40 - The 70s" (from September 28th, 1974), & was the #37 song. Bravo, Marilyn!

Do not "refute" anyone's opinion and contribution. It makes you look and sound stupid. Get it?

@louiswalsh2009 No way Jose! Lena has a rich voice much older than she looks but sorely lacks the youth, beauty and sincerity of the Marilyn Sellars version. I refute your representation (with respect).

Thanks so much for posting this song! I was back from two years as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and rediscovered 'country music'. I lived it back then and still play and listen to it whenever I can. This recording by Marilyn Sellars is one of my all time favorites!

I think this is the version I remember hearing in the 70's when I was little.

Not sure why it's hard to believe that one of the best songwriters of all-time co-write this amazing tune. My Grandad used to sing this to himself when I was growing up and it stuck with me. Still love the song!
