From an old documentary made by director Dave Coster, focusing on the former ska band from Union, New Jersey, One Cool Guy aka OCG. May have been recorded around the summer of 1998, possibly later. The band existed from 1997 to 1999 during which time they put out 1 full album, a 7' record with 2 songs, and a long list of compilations. Although most of their fanbase was in New Jersey, the band played regular shows throughout the tri-state area and later toured across half of the US.
The song is Xample, the band's "hardcore" or "ska-core" song. It features Nick Afflitto on Trumpet, Peter Sibilia on Tenor Sax, and Mark Rendeiro on French Horn. Vocals were not included here but you hear Stuart Karmatz on drums, Chris Paszik on Bass, and Keith Eberle on guitar. This is one clip of many, not sure yet if I can or will release them all, but expect a few others.
