This being one of the classic jazz standards, I thought I would post a more traditional version as opposed to the 7/4 versions I have already posted. Many times this is played as a latin to swing (the "A" parts played latin and the bridge played swing style) but I have kept this in a latin style throughout. I have tried to add a few annotations explaining parts of the improvisation.

As always, thanks for listening!

Tech Notes:

Roland FP-4 keyboard piano sound run through a VST tube-amp simulator to slightly warm the tone. Overhead video camera on tripod shot of FP-4 composited with MidiKeyz screen captures (via Camtasia) rendered using Serif MoviePlus. Thanks to Jamal at www.midiculous.com for the midi keyboard display.

Nice. Back in college we always played the B section as swing then back to bossa for A. And I do like Eb as well. Don't know why but I always found Ebmaj7/Cmin9 runs really easy for me. I suppose I should work harder on the other key signatures.

Hi Roger! Do you listen to much Mulgrew Miller? Your playing on this reminds me a lot of "Getting To Know You"!
