Omnium Gatherum's solo's never dissapoint. Admittedly their vocals take some getting used too, but they make some absolutely fantastic music.

Poor mixing like hell, that's one of the problems. The vocals lie much higher than normal in metal of this kind, and frankly, it sounds awkward due to MDM's growling lying much higher than death, but not as high as in black. Blame the mixing, not the singer. The singer isn't all that bad, he's doing an ok job. At least there are far worse growlers than him out there, that sound bad even with good mixing.

Music is pretty good if a little pedestrian. Vocals absolutely ruin it for me. Annoying. There are loads of excellent finnish black, death and doom metal bands, but this is not one of them. Good day.
