Omnia begon in 1996 als Nederlandse Gallo-Romeinse historische theatergroep. Met de komst van Jenny in 2002 werd de band een paganfolkband. Met Joe (gitaar) in 2004 en Tom (slagwerk) in 2009 was Omnia compleet. Omnia is te zien op vele Gothic, Paganistische, Middeleeuwse, Folk en Fantasy festivals door heel Europa, waaronder Castlefest. Omnia speelt eigen muziek net traditionele elementen. De muziek was altijd 100% accoustisch. Jenny zingt en speelt harp, hurdy-gurdy en bodhrán. Luca zingt en speelt didgeridoo. Steve zingt en speelt fluit, darbuka, bouzouki en troms.

Reading comprehension fail? They're dressed like that, wearing make-up & prosthetics because they're performing at a FAIRY BALL. It's the only part of the description that not only isn't written in Dutch, but that's also ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS. In case you failed to noticed. Everybody else went on with explaining to you the fae belief system, etc. Which is great. I have to say that I feel embarrased for those ones that feel embarrased for this band, I love how they dress and how they don´t mind to look like freak people, because they are authentic, and if you don´t like them just let them be free and don´t judge them.11 years ago

First of all celtic music isn't about fitting in or fashion. It is about the music from nature; of the land and how we are one with nature, each other and the gods. The feya or Feri, fairies, ect. depending upon how one spells the loving creatures is also a big part of the celts. Hints the ear extentions and some of the makeup and clothes. I almost got the feeling that the other band members besides the whistle player and the girl on the drums were reluctant to play the song! I know that such ego drama can exist in band groups...I am also aware that a bit of drama has come to Omnia and a member has left, though I don't know if my perceptions on this video are related at all.11 years ago
