Omd are back with a beautiful new track by which will appear on their forthcoming album history of modern.

Lyrics thanks to johan!

There's no time for theory

And there's no time for tears

And there's no point in trying

We wasted all these years

And there's no way of knowing

If this pain will ever fade

And there is no denying

That this is what we made

Take a look at yourself and walk to the edge

And take a deep breath and be someone else

Take a look at yourself and see what is found

Step into the light onto new holy ground

There's no hope of saviour

And there's no escape from sin

We must now abandon

the people that we've been

So take a look at yourself and walk to the edge

Take a deep breath and be someone else

Take a look at yourself and see what is found

Step into the light onto new holy ground

choir

Take a look at yourself, walk to the edge

Take a deep breath and be someone else

Take a look at yourself, see what is found

Step into the light onto new holy ground

This track could go on Architecture & Morality easily. The History of Modern album needs a few listens but it really is a fine comeback LP

This is the sort of atmospheric song that OMD do better than any one else. Has an Organisation feel to it. I love it.

OMD back to their brilliant best. Very reminiscent of A&M. Love it

Found I needed to listen to this a few times - it's slower than expected but it grows on you. All the usual OMD sensibilities are there refreshingly, textured, layered ... only better! Thanks for sharing this one ...
