One of my all time favorite bands. Anybody notice the 1981 vintage Casio VL-tone calculator synth pop out of the box at the end? I didn't spot it anywhere else in the video. Very cool! I love stuff like this..... Easter Egg Hunt! Long Live OMD!

As far as I know, Andy is agnostic or atheist.. The song "Universal" probably speaks his true mind. i.e. "We all bleed the same blood / We all need the same love / And when we die there’s no heaven above." JoA/MoO are about a young woman, a heroine, not a God or a religion.. she was an interesting character, you don't need to believe in God to respect a person who did in a time when pretty much everyone had a faith. But times have changed, religion is fading, for the better of mankind.

Ah, and while I am at it: how would you read "Joan of Arc" and "Maid of Orl, putting yourself in Andy’s shoes back then? Not in Andy’s shoes now, I mean the artistic climate in which they created "Architecture and Morality". And Merry Christmas, in a non-socially distorted "religious" way… :-)
