Talk about those TV westerns in the fifties, there were a plethora of them at the movie houses, many with the big name stars such as John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Gary Cooper, and Alan Ladd. Others were strictly "B" movies which were second feature material back in the day when you always viewed a double feature at the local movie theatre and paid no more than 50 cents for the privilege. Children's prices. Once you hit 12, adult prices, $ 1.00 in the early days, skied to $ 1.25 in high school days. There was a song about western movies. It is called "Western Movies", it arrived in 1958, it was sung by a group called The Olympics, it hits the chart at # 3403, and is now a classic do-wop song from the era.
