Saw this band play in my hometown of Corpus Christi TX, damn good show. I love classic metal like this, so much better than the angry rubbish they call metal nowadays. This song is EPIC.I heard these guys were from Dallas-I wonder if anybody out there knows.

Great to see this video is still alive on Youtube! I wrote this song on my Korg M1 while I was getting my voice back in between my OM stints. Once Monte, Dan & Curt added their magic it turned out to be a great song! we shot the video at our local access tv station! and a superb editing job by Monte Humphrey!

Ahh . . .Okie Metal!!! Magnum, Powerlord. Legioned Marcher, Forte . . .a lot of good bands around back then. Other than Rev Jones I don't know of anyone whose really made a career out of it all, though. Peace to my Okie Metal Brothers!!!

Saw these guys so many times that I've lost count...Every show was awesome--no one could play the drums like Curt, Dan was a mad man on bass and Monte--sheesh--just listen to him play..I loved when Mark and Sammy were on the vocals.. Sure miss these times...

Being from Oklahoma, we used to go watch these guys all the time. Oliver Magnum really was the $hit back "in the day". Monte always killed with his custom Dean ML and Jackson Kelly.
