This is a truly wonderful version of 'Old and Wise' performed by David Paton. A stunning performance by everyone. It was recorded during the Night of the Proms which was held in Antwerp, Belgium in October 1990. This was the only concert in which the Project performed with original name, formation and roles

It highlights to me what a fantastic performer David is.

Always found it a shame that APP didn't tour hardly at all in the 1980's.

Maybe it is only me, but I found this version very weak compared to the original sung by Colin Blunstone.

It's a very good david but I'm sorry but nobody does it better than Colin, that's his song and Alan should have brought him in to have him sing it on that day

The best use of this song is in the movie "A Dirty Carnival." Used at the most important time in the movie for the main character. A real tear-jerker scene. An amazing Korean gangster movie.

I never realized the connection with until last week's "One Hit Wonder Day" and a friend posted "Sky High." Great tune, great version.

Yes, I loved Ian Bairson's solo on ''Some Other Time'', and emailed him a few years ago about that.

Sorry, I mean Mel Collins as the saxophonist who played the original solo in the studio album of ''Eve''.

Ian Bairnson, him and David Paton were in a band called Pilot, but Ian plays on all APP records! One of the best guitarists ever!!!
