I DO NOT OWN THIS.

Some pre-OK Go from Damian Kulash's college days. Appears on "Appendices", a collection of unreleased music and demos that have something to do with OK Go's front man.

"Prolepsis" was recorded in the winter of 1995-1996 and, at some point, appeared on a demo tape for Damian. It has a nice segue into "T's Song", track three. If you have any information, comment!

This is one of my favorite Appendices tracks, enjoy.

If you believe there are any errors in the lyrics please comment.

LYRICS:

In the final moments of this day

I've come to my conclusion

You and I can fly.

And if you'll accept the way

the vertigo will soothe you

You can shut your eyes.

So we'll break the man

who sang beneath the earth

on subterranean lines, he cries:

I hope this

gets to you.

My last telegram.

transmission broken...

Down here everyone seethes.

Consider this my prolepsis,

the voice of all that you might say I said.

You sang the last song with the first and now

I know it's done to you.

Your last telegram lost...

Down here everything breathes.

And now from the [...] sway

Drunk with your confusion

Sullen little spy.

Feet stuck to the firmament, I'll stay

Armed with this illusion,

gravity's a lie.

Here for several hours I will wait.

I'll wait for your inclusion.

You and I must fly.

And if I'm restless while I stay

I'll think you're a-falling

when we reach the sky.

Thanks! And you're welcome. I'm hoping to work on uploading some other rarities I've found soon, time permitting.

I think it's "feet stuck to the firmament", if that's any help. Thank you so much for uploading these!

thank you for uploading all of these! Probably never would have heard them other wise, and that would be disastrous to be missing out on these.

@salllbug Thank you! It means a lot. This appears to still have sound on my end. Make sure you don't have the player muted, perhaps?

I've really enjoyed your other uploads. This one has no sound? :)
