Some pre-OK Go from Damian Kulash's college days. Appears on "Appendices", a collection of unreleased music and demos that have something to do with OK Go's front man.
Known as simply "Please, Please, Please" on Appendices, this cover of the Smiths' song was recorded during the summer of 1996. It was made known to Damian and his colleages around age twelve by the Pretty in Pink soundtrack.

These guys are brilliant. I remember seeing them in NYC at the Bowery Ballroom with about 50 other people, with Sean Lennon standing next to me. I adore this band. And The Smiths. Great cover!11 years ago
