To me, the first three Oingo Boingo albums were - by far - their best work. When it came to pure originality, complex songwriting and creativity, Only a Lad, Nothing to Fear and Good For Your Soul were undeniably the real deal. And while some of their later albums were a bit of disappointment (especially the '87 album) at first, this album was just utterly amazing from day one... Underrated masterpiece.

I've always liked Nothing to Fear the best. It sounded and felt more interesting and Oingo Boingo-like than Only a Lad (though it's pretty good too).
