I see your point. In a time of need I would rather team up with the commies that with fascists. But in a time of need everything is different, if you are in serious trouble you aren't able to fully reflect or even are able to fully decide about your actions. Marxism is all about improving the lot of the working classes rather than trying to escape them like neo-liberalism. Say what you like about the state, at least we can vote them out and everyone's vote counts the same. The corporations that rule us under capitalism only answer to shareholders and the rich.
