And, by this, I'm not denying actuual people from my country supported the dictatorship, of course they did, but there are several ways to make "the people" support anything. The UK is a first world country, what I've said about the US applies for the UK too. And I couldn't care less about the falklands; we were under a US supported military dictatorship back then, the falklands war was a set up, a staging; on one hand, the army moaned with cheap patriotism about the islands, on the other, they were selling our resources (in the mainland) to US & brit companies. Falklands war is a great example of how the 1st world underdevelops the 3rd world, good ol' imperialism.11 years ago
