@RFAstill Good analogy but not quite accurate Well... artists get a VERY small percentage of money per CD that's sold from publishers. Artists get much more money from selling shirts and other merchandise because they can invest in those things themselves and get most if not all the money from those sales and don't have to share it with the publisher. Hence why bands love to sell t-shirts.
