Comment to Ashlyn: The reason why this music is dying is.....those of us who refuse to support those churches who still use pure gospel music. Example....when the most pentecostal churches brought in contemporary music, those members who "objected" stayed on. They should have "voted" with their feet. There are thousands of church members who cringe at contemporary music.....BUT they remain there listening to it as it grinds on their souls. We need to get a backbone and act upon our convictions.

I have watched this vide so many times too and it gives me chills. These songs are dying out with all the new music. This type of music I feel like are my roots. To God be the glory. I am so glad that there is school that teaches this old time music. It is a blessing to watch Tom Powell and his leadership.
