All the people that says he's gay, he's not. He visited my school today and explained some of his life during college and sang to us. Sorry if i say all of this denantre but yes... He was an outcast, not a good student during high school if you imagine. And he had tons of family problems... You see? He was born from an atletic family, and since he was into music... His family never understanded him. Deantre I can say this right? But yeah his least favorite subject was of course LanguageArts. He had such low credits(gpa) in his senior year that he had to take extra classes... In senior year you just have around 4 periods that are electives... But deantre had 7 periods because he was so behind. His mom was the only person that pushed him to sing in American idol. So stop saying that he's gay because he's really not. Even though he's been in American idol, he's quite humble and doesn't brag. You might be like this guy's lieing, he can't seriously know all this. Well think that way, because he visited my school as a special guest before he goes to Hawaii to study. Believe me or not its your choice.

deandre has the ability to while being so young, appeal to older audiences. if he wanted to he could sell records to older audiences, but he choose to sing this pop music, appealing to a generation that only gets him 39,000 views, after nearly a year of being on youtube. After his "you dont matter anymore" rendition I though deandre was going to sky rocket. I think not anymore because the type of music he is singing now. his voice is lost in this pop music. Frankly, i dont think its his style because he doesn't fit your typical mold of having that young and urban youthfulness to him. Deandres very mature and natural stature depletes after this song.
