OK, so I've been a Fish fan and a Marillion fan since I first saw them at the Venue in Victoria 35 years ago. These guys are the longest unbroken relationship of my life. Fish has become one of the brightest, most cutting commentators on life in this modern world for this generation. His lyrics tell amazing stories about how we live our lives and how we react to what people do to us and this song - State of Mind - is one of his best, if it's possible to judge one from another. Which it's not.
