This is absolutely phenomenal. I don't understand all the comments comparing it to earlier works. I think this is a perfect, natural next step. And honestly it doesn't matter what I or any one else thinks of it anyway because the only thing that matters is if Kevin likes it and it makes him happy. I love when Kevin Barnes steps back and makes more of a simple track, like what happened here for about the first 2 minutes 50. After that the song wasn't that special to me, but just that simple double bass groove, that's really what I love about Of Montreal. Idk if I'll get this album yet, will have to see.

I've heard a lot of people saying they didn't like lousy with sylvianbriar. Listen to obsidian currents, triumph of disintegration, imbecile rages. These are all hits. The whole album is well writtwn, beautifully produced, and one of my favorites (tied for first with all other albums) by Kevin.
