I remembered I lost my best friend ( we are in same primary and high school , with mostly same classes every years ) . But during the final year of high school our relationship quiet distant cause you know it getting very competitive compared to childhood years (girls , exam scores , achievements , appearances , you name it.) and know what , I got it all above him . It wasn't that bad in the beginning but it got become worse when he start to bother me from time to time and I start thrash him slowly . Trust me , I thrash him worse than he bothering me because he stills treat me good while I still thrashing him . Then one day he went all quiet and I just 'meh' leaving him alone at school and socializing with other friends . By the way , we actually have hard time to make new friends , so we usually talk only with each other or another 2 or 3 close friends we got . It was before two weeks school holiday I saw him for final time but never talk to each other . During the holiday he and his family had an accident . Him , his mother and his little brother gone . While his father and brother had minor injury . Devastated , pressured and depressed I was . I can't forgive myself for what I've done . I feel like I am the worst person ever for leaving my best friend who being the only few person he can interact with . Went through final high school exam without him . Glad got OMAM and this beautiful song to pull myself together until now . I got my lessons .

To me this song is about somebody with an psychopathic emotional disorder where they often lash out at innocent people. One day he loses control and kills a person (I was thinking a girlfriend). When the reality hits him, he is filled with even more anger and kills himself/kills more people. Just my take though.
