I like to think that this video is the sequel to "king and the lionheart". And Nanna plays the girl who was imprisoned in the rock by the vikings. She's somehow freed a thousand years later but she's sad cuz she's still missing her brother. So in the video the travelers are helping her find him. In the end she finds him...magically evolved into the giant beast...probably with the help of the little light animal. And once they're together they will bring peace to the land again.

I've heard another explanation I like to share..The message behind this lyric and video is darker and deeper than most think. It's the story of the fallen angel (the anti-christ) who's leading people to the beast (the devil). People will not recognize the evil in this person because he or she's acting like a protector and a hero. "The old house" refers to our earth. People are tired of this place and quite done with all the evil around them (the demons, monsters and 2 headed eagle are mythological symbols of evil used in the clip) These people are following this so called savior because he or she is having power over this evil and is able to destroy it at will. In the end when the followers went through an ordeal and being warn out they will be led to the ultimate evil... the beast... the devil. They can't escape this time. The anti-christ will take place on his head (as in the video). The scenario of this song and video seems to be taken from the book of revelations. For that I believe this song is more like a warning.
