This beautiful arrangement of a very old and favored hymn, now commonly used for Christmas, was created for the acoustic guitar by David Walbert, my esteemed friend, colleague and teacher.

When I first heard David's arrangement of this old hymn, I was immediately struck with it; and am truly grateful to him for allowing me to post this video of his fine work.

Three of David's original compositions are featured in "Mel Bay's Master Anthology of New Classic Guitar Solos." David continues to teach, and is available for private lessons, in Birmingham, Alabama.
