@OldCryptopsy Hannes and Jeroen were the best of the band! Now Hannes wears the crown of perfectionism ;) haha Believe me, I´ve seen them several times and I watched nearly all of the live vids on Youtube, ´cause I´m a hardcore-fan. They pull it off, but not nearly as good as for example The Faceless or Gorod. You know what I mean? Oh and yeah, they had a bad day, Steffen was high! :D

@TomVirial Yeah you're right, i thought Ocean Gateways was a huge letdown, but i never expected them to pull off songs off Omnivium perfectly, there's a lot of mixing involved in that album, but nevertheless, they're still amazing. ;)

@Langtw I think your mistake noncomplicated with sloppy there. I don't think I've ever seen Led Zeppelin mess up as much as Obscura do live. It doesn't mean obscura can't play more complicated songs than rock bands.

@ProkreatedThrash I've seen them live too, and it was mostly spot on. It just seems lots of their videos on youtube seem to have them playing sloppery.

@Langtw No, he´s right. I was there and they played (especially the new songs - Vortex Omnivium was the biggest disappointment) sloppy. They are great musicians, everyone of them, but they are not good enough to play these songs live. Sad but true. Nonethless, they are one of my top 3 bands for some time now :)
