I really like his "Grau sehn" (seeing grey) ambiguity, but his "den Weg aus dem Tal", I don't like it at all. How could they publish this recording which obviously has a weakness here? freundlichst zeigst du / den Weg aus dem Tal. You can't sing it like this. His star does show "the path" but "shows!!!" uhhhh the path. "wer-hö?! denn", come one, I like singers like Schlusnus who fully understood the lyrics and the gramatical structure. "damn! Tal"

Димчик, ты у меня самый лучший баритон в мире. Ich liebe dich sehr wirklich. Ich könnte die Sehnsucht nicht besiegen mein Verlangen nach dir.

@operalover9001 I find it really hard to listen to and enjoy Wagner. I am very familiar with the bel canto repertoire, the romanticism of the Italian and the French, I adore the German leid and works of R. Strauss very much, also earlier baroque pieces, and definitely Mozart operas, but Wagner is something I've never come to understand. I went to see a Die Walkure once and I admit I really fell asleep, I just couldn't understand the music, and I envy people who doso and can appreciate him.
