Glory to God.O come let us adore Christ the Lord.(I wish he commited only a slight mistake, that it was not on purpose or to adulterate the meaning of the song).Though some say the authors of this song were English, this could be true as we read the verses about the mother of Jesus. The original paper was found in Nova Viçosa, Portugal in 1640.I said in another comment that this song was Portugal's national anthem. This was a bad translation from Brazilian comment. The English people used to call this song "Portuguese Hymn" because it used to be played at Portugal embassy in London.
