I love comparisons, comparisons are great. But accusing someone of 'ripping off' a sound is just plain pathetic. O Children aren't playing covers here, they wrote these songs for fuck's sake. Do you think they sat down and said, "let's make these songs sound as much like Joy Division as we can"? No. Musicians naturally output the qualities of their influences, and it's not their fault people have such limited reference points to bring the same 3 names up again and again.11 years ago
