Jim Konya does the growling and drum smashing in Nunslaughter and also Schnauzer. Check out Schnauzer. It is different than this. It sounds like grindcore more than this. It is more raw and not as polished as this with different band members. The older schnauzer stuff is the best it is more vile to all of your senses with Ron Merk killer lead guitarist, Tony Daprano kick ass bass guitarist,Steve Eggs lead grunter and asshole. Then last but not least growler and drum smasher Jim Konya. They have new members now and a more polished sound with Scott Schumacher and Aaron Ramirez omit Steve Eggs. The older Schnauzer I prefer though.9 years ago

Although I agree maestro is a dickwad, I disagree with your assumption about the "religious people." There's religion and Organized Religion-with its self perpetuating institutions. I would go as far as saying listening to metal is a religious experience. I would define religion with a lowercase "r" as a general, oftentimes communal feeling of awe and wonder and in-the-momentness(?). That's how I feel (or at least try to feel) when listening to music, regardless of lyrical content.10 years ago

If you don't mind, I'd like to chime in on this. I partly agree with maestro, not with his berating comments, but about the necessity of faith and religion, yet they have good and bad aspects. I consider myself a sort of atheist Christian. I don't believe in deities but in the natural laws of the cosmos. The universe does everything yet leaves nothing undone.
