@Felicia Mara What is "the right way" to use his voice? JC has the ability to sing in all different styles and has a huge range it seems to me the "right way" to use his voice would be to do just that, which is what he did. Also I can only imagine Franklin Muse hasn't listen to much JC singing because JC hits lower lows than Justin and he hits higher highs than Justin and he has been know to do it in the same song. Often the backing vocals in his solo stuff was all him, singing the different parts.

Just be glad the group made it big so they could share there music with us and don't hate cause Justin became a big time solo artist and jc didn't just be happy one of them made it big time

Justin isn't FAR better. He uses his voice to the best of his ability which makes him a better artist. JC is a better singer, but he is going all sorts of direction instead of using his voice the right way.

I totally agree. I think people say JT is the best singer because he had the most "star power". It doesn't matter that JC is better technically, people are willing to overlook that simply because JT has the most personality and appeal.

So true... it's really obvious in this performance. I love JT's voice, too, but he's not as consistent vocally. JC has the power and range and his tone is amazing. And JC can hit high notes, too. Whoever said he cant is crazy! Listen to Sailing. Enough said.

@xLastSonx What are you talking about? When Justin sings the bridge to "I Want You Back" live he always either goes flat when he sings " You're the one I need" with the "I" part or he cheats and sings a lower note. That's a solid example. Not docking him as a singer once again, he can sing, but he just riffs a lot in a comfortably low range. You probably cant tell what the difference is with range cuz JC hits all the stuff in the same octave as Justin that Justin can never do. JC = Superior.

I listen to this every month of the year. This performance one of the best arguments against anyone who says they weren't real musicians, whatever that even means, or that only 2 of them mattered. What a ridiculous amount of vocal talent in one group. BTW, both JC and Justin are incredible singers; I like to talk about their differences without saying one is better than the other. It's amazing apples and kickass oranges.

@MrNostalgiaX The reason why Justin is better is because he can hit the highs, lows and hit the mids as lead. JC can hit some highs but mostly stays in the mid range of vocal range. This is a great example of it and if you high them do More Than a Feeling. I always say when they first started out JC was hands down the better singer, but Justin grown into his voice and he is now far better...just look at the solo careers lol

Everybody always defends Justin when I say JC is the best singer in that group. I always say "Who the hell can sing solos with that power, control, finesse, and style altogether besides JC?" then people always say "Justin rocks cuz he sings with what he is able to do. He isn't the type to sing those power bridges or even leads. Well know what? I got madd respect for JT but people who defend him like that are stupid. JC is in every way the superior singer. THIS is a SOLID example. Dig it.

I honestly thought that was a drum, I listened to it again and realized it was Lance. I <3 his voice! And in "The Only Gift" off of their Xmas album you can hear him at the end of the 2nd verse.
