I didn't know they did a video for this. Thanks for posting it. Nice jam by Gladys Knight and the Pips. I got their Visions album that has this song. I noticed black actor Obba Babatunde was dancing behind Gladys. It looked like he was Gladys boyfriend. Obba was Motown records owner Berry Gordy in The Temptations movie and he was in Life movie with Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Bernie Mac(RIP), Anthony Anderson, Sanaa Lathan.

This song and Juicy Fruit by Mtume make me miss 1983 and everything about the early 80's... So many great songs came out that year. IOU by Freeez ,Magic's Wand by Whodini,Serge Ponsar's Out In The Night and so so many more.

A #1 hit for Gladys Knight and The Pips on the Rhythm & Blues charts. It was the 494th #1 R&B song of the Rock Era.

I love this song and it brings back so many great memories. Thank you for posting. A classic from a class act. I defy anyone to remain still when they hear that beat.

Anyone recognize the guy playing Gladys' husband? My first thought was Obba Babatunde from Dreamgirls on Broadway but I'm not sure...

Have yall noticed how deeply singers from back in the day used to feel the lyrics? Today they open their mouths and it sounds like noise. What happened?

However, this video is as ill-conceived as any I've ever seen for a major recording artist; it looks like an informercial for mainstream B-boyism; poor Gladys & her Pips look like mere co-stars in her own video!

Another classic from vocal powerhouse Gladys Knight, who could whup any of the modern "divas" without a sweat!
