If you like this song, you'll like "Melankton"...this is just a tiny sample of a great album. I first heard Kate on last.fm, where I've found an ever-expanding universe of fine singers like Kate. Today I sought this out to send to a friend whose daughter's husband stole their children and took them to his native land of Russia. She's trying desperately to bring them back, but it's the worst situation she could find herself in. And it's NOT FAIR.

When I first her, I thought it was Imogene Heap. Very-very similar vocal/music styles. Also check out Frou Frou (Imogene Heap's original band - more electronic).

If you like her voice - check out Elsiane. Both of them have spectacular voices! Kate's his a bit more jazzy, and Elsiane's is a bit more haunting. I LOVE music like this! So much better than the rotten garbage pouring out of the airwaves these days.
