Over the years I've listened to many, many bands but Northstar will always have a place in my heart. Easily one of the coolest bands that had ever existed. All of their songs are golden and I still listen to them frequently these days. Come back, Northstar!! Cassino is cool but Pollyanna was the best album!!

I remember just kicking back in study hall in 2004 with this and Blood Brothers. Two very much underrated bands. Whatever happened to the music of the early 2000's? Thanks for posting Pollyanna, simply amazing song.

@dorkrockcorkrod possibly because they still have (at least on these old albums, Pollyanna and Is this thing Loaded?) that sort of unpolished sound, but who knows what they would have done had they been picked up by a major label (sellout? rocket to long-lasting stardom? :) Also I've heard (and it's pretty obvious) that TBS took heavy influence from these guys... you can certainly ehar it, especially from tracks like Pornog's daughter, TBS ripped almost that exact sound.

@tintanknowsbest Such a waste. Not many people have ever heard of them. This is one band that would have been overplayed to death on radio stations because they were SO GOOD.
