This cover is a great reimagining of this song. If you try to reproduce this song the way it was written there is no way to top Steve Perry. That is why this song works. They went so far into left field, and put so much balls, shred and that Euro metal kick that you just can't fuck with it. The haters need to go listen to some European symphonic metal and learn how to appreciate stellar musicianship. A little ear training wouldn't hurt, either.

This is what happens when three of some of the biggest names in music metal music want to cover songs together. Amazing cover. I feel the solo was a little overdone but outside of that the chorus gave me chills.
