@prayerofthemantis i couldn't disagree with u more. From what i have heard of the new album it rocks. Yeah okay the new singer Alexkshi whatever isn't as good as a frontman as Petri. But now he can focus 100% on ensiferum, and he is just as good if not better over there. It was the right decision, and Petri could not have toured and recorded being the frontman of 2 large bands. As far as singing goes, Kride is fucking awesome and he has a great voice so just shaddup.

Er, I forgot to add; Petri was splitting his time between two different bands full-time, he was going to end up leaving one or the other. It was only a matter of time, and Norther decided to be the ones to let him go. They had a good run, more than a decade, and Ensiferum already lost another vocalist due to being in two bands.

Kristian should just stop singing, its sounds like he's had a stroke and doesn't fit the music, the band has probably killed themselves in kicking Petri out, They were the best band i ever heard, and lets face it.. we all know what the next album will probably turn out like! .. A whole lot of "oh.. well it was alrighhhhht :S"

Yes,the clean vocals are important too,but not as much as Pete's voice was :(.Without him (and with the new singer) I think,Norther's lost the magic of its music.
