From 1966 a great song from the wonderful Norma Tanega, probably better known for her hit 'Walkin My Cat Named Dog'. This song isn't included on her album from the same year, but is one of her best.
I DJ this out quite a bit and someone will always come up and ask me what it is.

I'm surprised she wasn't a regular in "Sesame Street" or the "Electric Company". All of the songs I've heard by her are kind of whacky.12 years ago

is the version of "waves" on the b-side the one from the LP? i have this 45 put out on New Voice and "Bread" sounds much different and "Waves" is a minute longer than the album version. any info is appreciated! i like this Stateside version much better.13 years ago
