This song had originally been recorded and released by April Stevens in 1961, with a slower arrangement. Noreen's version did not chart, but was released on a single with "Why Can't A Boy And Girl Stay In Love" on the other side in September 1963. April's version did not chart either, and I have it posted as well. Noreen had perviously starred in a tv sitcom called "Bachelor Father". She also starred in the movie, "Girls on the Beach".

I recall this song well. My older siblings brought home a copy of the 45, about in early 1963. It is a great little song.Never heard it on am radio though. The singer is Noreen Corcoran, of Bachelor Father tv show. Produced by Nino Tempo, of Nino & Temp "Deep Purple" song, etc. Great song. Thanks for posting.13 years ago
