I think you're missing the point of that part of the song. He's not mocking the guy that got shot; He was directing his spite toward the man's supposed God. "You thought it was a Christian thing to do/Breaking up that fight at school". The entire reason he got involved in the fight is because of his beliefs. The "God" he so vehemently worshipped and praised ended up being the one to fuck his entire life over. Hence why he "flushed (his belief in God) with (his) first piss bag."

The point of this song is to say 'if you're god is so great, why does all this shit happen to people who believe it?' he's not laughing at someone who was Christian and got shot, the events probably never happened.
