The nofx covers of rancid are very obviously better while the rancid covers are butcherings. In my opinion op ivy should have kept going and rancid not ever existing.

Great cover and tribute to one of the greatest. Done by the greatest. Love to both nofx and rancid. I get a different feeling about where rancid was when they made this album.

It immediately tells me that I don't know about a particular genre of music, then attacks me by saying that my comment was the stupidest thing ever. My comment clearly needs some deeper explanation for you. I never said that this was a BAD cover, just that it was too fast. On top of that, it does indeed sound like an entirely different song.

rarely do covers far surpass the original. sorry to rancid but this kills the original. NoFX = music genius. Ive known crusties, street punk, pop kiids, and all the sh!t in between. They all seemed to have love for these guys.
