new Nocturnal is good, but these first two albums had no fillers. All the songs had value and were catchy; while new Nocurnal seems to have a few standout tracks then a bunch of sleepers. For some reason I prefer the cult/accent of the orig vocalist to that of the clean/crisp newer one. To each is own, but I think the songwriting (tho less technical) was more well-written on these first two albums.
