I like this band, and I'm excited to see how they develop as they progress with their career but I gotta say, this song was just all over the place. Don't get me wrong, there were parts of this song I liked. The vocals and instrumentation were on point as always. But the arrangement of the song was so weird. I kinda got tired of listening half way through because the styles and tempo jumped around so much and it just kind of seems like they couldn't make up their minds what kind of song they were making. Nyeh, well. I guess I can't like every song.

Just my opinion (so please no bashing or hateful comments if you do not agree with me), but I don't know why, but I somehow like the PV for GENESIS more than PROVIDENCE. Music, lyric and style-wise. Some of my friends shared the same opinion as me once I shared my thoughts with them and asked them if they agreed or disagreed. Like, when GENESIS came out and I first watched it, it really had me head banging like crazy in my chair in front of my computer. I was totally excited and amazed by this wonderful piece of music and the PV's concept! But with PROVIDENCE, I was just sitting in my chair and blankly watching the screen through the whole PV and going: "Was that it? Did I wait so long for this?" The lighting in PROVIDENCE reminded me of the one they used in VIP and the way they positioned the guys (+ their movements) in some shots was just like in the GENESIS PV (maybe the more or less "same" outfits in the majority of the shots - except Hiro's and Daichi's - made me feel this way). Although I must admit that seeing the guys in suits was really a nice and pleasant change - they all looked stunning :)But back to why I favor GENESIS over this PV. I'm more of a person who prefers to really listen and indulge into the music (Libra and Sphere being good examples of Nokubura PVs for this), but there were so many distractions and extreme camera movements here that it was sheer impossible to do so. Adding the girl kind of ruined the flow of the PV for me as I think that just concentrating on the individual members would have been more authentic and sufficient enough in this case. Not one of my friends understood why she was there in the first place anyway. In this PV, it didn't feel like they created something entirely new, but more like they took elements out of all their previous PVs and combined them to form a new one (with only slight alterations).To not turn this into a meter long comment, I'll finish it by saying that I listened to the whole single and to be honest, I think Ignis Heart would have been far better PV material than PROVIDENCE. Not to mention that it, in my opinion, fit the title of the single "PROVIDENCE" more - at least the way I interpreted the title and the lyrics of the songs. Do not get me wrong - I love Nokubura and how much effort and love they put into their music and performances. I was just a bit disappointed when seeing this PV, because I think that it somehow totally didn't match the concept one would normally have of PROVIDENCE. And please, if you disagree, then feel free to tell me so, but as I said in the beginning - no bashing or rude replies. Everyone has the right to state their opinion, no?
