When Natalie started moaning near the end of the record...That was the sound of a broken heart. I appreciated her later work but those first 5 albums were soul classics. Truth be told, if it wasn't for the music of Natalie, Chaka and Minnie, I never would have made it!

Is there any way you could upload "Hard to Get Along"? (If possible.) I love this song...always have. Thank you so much for putting it up.

I agree! This was the best sad song ever written. I listened to this song sitting around the house with my mother as she would unravel those hair rollers out of her very long hair. My Dad would work long hrs at Ford here in STL, my Mom would play alot of Nat's songs while cleaning house and would get ready for my Dad to come home.. This song makes me sad and remenis in a good way.Not long after my mother died in our home at only 27 yrs old and I was 7...refflections have mixed emotions.

The absolute best sad song ever written and recorded by the amazing Natalie Cole. One of my all time faves. Way back in the day, even before I had any losses or anything to grieve about. I LOVE THIS WOMAN!
