It sounds good, but I feel like there is not nearly enough discipline to be able to pull off a style like this cleanly. I mean, there are guys just playing random shit the whole time; it sounds like a marching band warming up.

Sorry if this sounds rude, but I love the trombone. I absolutely love jazz and and love what I do. I love Mingus especially and I very much like this cover but those solos from (I think 1st chair) sound ridiculous. It honestly is just sound. I mean, that is very hard to do, but it doesn't mix well with the other instruments and have a nice blended sound.(Edit: after two years of more playing and listening, I disagree with this statement).
