With its 21st release, petFood is proud to present a 4-track EP from London-based DJ duo No Artificial Colors [Lewis Wright and Ryan Ellis]. As a follow-up to their debut release that featured the hit "Detroit Baby What," the pair comes through with an effort chuck-full of groovy cuts that result in serious impacts on the dance floor. No Artificial Colors has developed a hypnotic sound that maintains a nice balance of vocal samples and deep basslines. The EP kicks off with the title track, "Street Knowledge" - a trippy cut with killer breakdowns that are ready to slay dance floors everywhere. It's nostalgic 90s R&B sample balances the mood of the tune perfectly. Next up is "Girl You Know" - a fun, bass heavy track with loopy vocals that tie all of the elements together nicely. The rumbling low end that comes in and out catapult the energy of the record to new heights. The next 2 tracks paint a darker color for the EP. "Meet Me at The Address" has an eerie vibe, while maintaining the signature NAC groove. This could be the soundtrack for haunted houses everywhere this year. The EP is wrapped up with "Squared" - a tune with a monster bassline that's complimented beautifully by a soulful sample. Ooof, not for the faint hearted.
