for this song, you can use tuning: ONE STEP DOWN. you can still play scentless apprentice, although, it is more of a stretch on the verse. once you tune one step down on all of your strings go from the 2nd fret to the 5th. thats at least how i do it.

what tuning where you using cause some people say half step down but the riff on the top strings doesn't sound quite right and whats your ds2 settings

@Nikofwtis1996 it's the in utero CD playing in the background. I scooped all the bass out and EQ'd it to remove some guitar

@sappystain I cant remember the exactly settings man. I also tried the EHX settings but sounded totally wrong to me too! When I use the pedal again I'll have to post my settings for you.

the boss ds-2 is a much better pedal by far. i like the sound of the new mustang. been debating on getting one of those jags. i have a jag stang but not enormously happy with it.

@Darkel616 hello :-) my XO is great. Has a multitude of sounds. People always argue about new vs old design. The new design has smaller die cast casing and lower voltage than the previous model which you own. Has a few new knobs to play with also. It does make some monstrously crazy sounds! Great for ringing feedback. Maybe not worth purchasing if you own the original...

@soultosqueeze11 don't think that because the mustang is linked to Kurt, it's in anyway limited in options. You can play anything on it and it's fantastic! I haven't had the opportunity to play the HH jaguar. I have the Kurt jaguar and think although very versatile, the weight or size might be an issue compared to the mustang.
