Fuck off this is the original bass track, you silly fucks! This is some kid playing in his bedroom. Punk or not, Nirvana wouldn't go to the trouble of having a million drummers to get the perfect one only to be blase about their bass track. Vig woud have also made them do it til it was right. SMH at some of the fools in here.

This shows how important the bass is. Many poeple think it isn't needed, but trust me, Lounge Act would sound horrible without it.

I love isolated bass tracks, they make me feel way better about myself not being the cleanest bas player.Alot of the awesomest basslines sounds muddy, garbled, overly metallic, and grunty, isolated, but holy shit do they sound good in the mix.

I pluck with my three finger on my right hand. Haha, to be honest, I can't really play with a pick all that well. I can't double pick like whatsoever. But I like my style, so I don't mind so much. It would be cool to play with that fast, driving punk style, though. So it would be cool to learn how to use a pick. But, yeah, I love Krist. He is one of my 3 favorite bassits, which also include Peter Hook, and Flea. He is great, and wrote some things I would never have thought of.

I too am a bass player, and I predominantly use a pick. I am adept with my fingers however i am more comfortable with about a 3.0 mm pick (especially on faster things as Im in a hardcore punk band) But I agree Krist was one of the best, and most overlooked bassists of the 90s. His fills and just his lines in general were always catchy and smooth.

I'm not sure where the hate for Krist comes from. He was a very talented bassist. I play bass, I don't use a pick, but I love how he used a pick. He is actually my favorite bass picker. Alot of people say that "real bassist don't use picks". I think that is total bull. I say a real bassist knows how to provide a solid rhythm, and is adaptive. Who cares how you agre getting the sound, as long as it's good. I love how he and Kurt flowed together, I think it's my favorite thing about this band.
