@NFgrunge ...ehhh, i know technically your statement--"the rest is old age"--is true. But the chord progression is considerably different, so is the vocal-melody; it could've developed into a completely different song if given the chance. If anything i'd call it a hybrid between Old Age & In His Hands. Oh yea, & Hole's rip off of it sucks. =)
